Linos Trio was born in 2011 due to the interest of its members for the chamber music and for being able to bring an important repertoire in the history of classical music to the Colombian public. They assume the challenge of achieving this mixture of colors and sounds using 3 instruments of different natures like the flute, viola and harp. Those who integrate Linos trio have had considerable experience in several chamber groups and as soloists, being outstanding within their generation.

Linos Trio is a professional group dedicated to the dissemination and implementation of the music written for the chamber format with special interest in projects that involve the current Colombian music. They recently finished recording their first album based on compositions by Colombian composers Ricardo Gallo, Damián Ponce and Carolina Noguera.

Linos Trio has been awarded several times for its polished work, the Bogota Philharmonic Orchestra awarded the group within the "Cycle of concerts of chamber music for all publics" and was awarded with a special prize to actively attend the VII International Festival of music in Cartagena 2013. Additionally, it was selected in the Luis Angel Arango library’s cycle of "Young performers” and the Chamber Music Festival of Bogotá, organized by the Teatro Libre and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Bogotá.

Linos trio has performed at the National University of Colombia, the Concert Hall of the Luis Angel Arango library, the Fabio Lozano auditorium - Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano, the Institute of fine arts in Cartagena de Indias, the Pablo VI Auditorium -Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, the Teresa Cuervo auditorium - National Museum and the cloisters of San Ignacio in Tunja, among others.
